  • When we talk of summer, one thing comes to mind: beach!! I’ve been to many beaches but I’m not as excited as this one because I’m finally completing #13 of my bucketlist: SURFING! Yay! I went to Baler, Aurora with Franz and friends Melai, Terence, Abby and Jeff last March30-31. After a 5-hour trip on a Genesis Joy Bus (PHP700), we sent to do some side trips. We rented a trycle at PHP800 for the whole day (max 3person per tric). We went to two falls, millenium tree and museums. My favorite would definitely be the trek to Mother Falls…

The three of us siblings are based in Ortigas now. So once in awhile we go out for dinner together. Tonight we’re at Podium. My older brother Labe and I accidentally met outside Anson’s building where he was playing Ingress. We went in together to see Laboy “The Manager” as being joked at home. He was on the couch at the 2nd floor waiting. The Manager was sleepy because of the soft couch he said. After awhile we went to my favorite place in Podium, Yaku! And im still Foursquare mayor here. Labe and I ordered my favorite Gyudon and…

  • Last week, I just had my 4th gig as part of a wedding coordinating team. I’ve always been the trustee at managing preparations at the reception. So when everyone leaves to church, im headed for the reception area. Thus, I dont have experience on what happens at the church or the actual wedding ceremony. What I can share you now are the things happening at the reception or the party. Most have similar format. There’s the entourage entrance, the first dance, toast, speeches, cake slicing, games and video presentations. While they are mostly standard, I would like to share to…

  • The academic year 2013-2014 was an awesome year for DevCon school initiatives. And for our last Campus DevCon, loads of prizes were given away even cash thanks to our veeeery generous partners: Jobstreet and Jollibee. The event was opened by the FEU-EAC faculty, Sir Jof followed by an intro to DevCon by our very own VP-Marketing and project lead, Rj Ramirez. The first talk was by the CEO of Orange and Bronze Software Labs, Calen Legaspi on Java Programming Best Practices. The next speaker was Mica Rivera, UX Engineer of Sulit.com.ph then the last speaker was Jojy Azurin, Country Manager…

I moved with my closest college friends in Manila after graduation. The first ones to move were me, Lope, Kim, Julian, Hans and Josan. Then many more from our group of friends followed. I think we’re around 15 already here in Manila. Almost exactly 3 years after, (Lope and I flew in Manila on March 27, 2011), Lope decided to move to Cebu. Looking back, we went together to tech events, parties, bars and clubs, mountain trips and sleepovers. It has been a crazy 3 years and it wouldn’t be as crazy without him in the picture. So when he…

  • Its fun to have a lot of friends. Its even more fun to have a lot of close friends. But nothing competes a life with a bestfriend. The pretty lady on the picture is my bestfriend Kim. I took this picture couple of months ago when we were in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on a budget trip. We’ve known each other in college as Computer Science students and been together since. Looking back, it was a roller coaster ride but it wouldnt be as amazing as it could without her in the picture. … so here are my reasons why a…
