April 16 marks the day I survived my first triathlon alive! It’s not on my bucket list but I went ahead to see if I can do it. Luckily, I did! I was on my last 500m of the run leg. It was an uphill struggle and I wanted to get it over with. I passed by another 1st-time triathlete in his 50s. He cheered “See you at the next race!”. I thought, “Do I even want to do this again?”. I just smiled and waved back at him.

How My Journey Began I first read about Lean In from Sheryl Sandberg’s book. I got curious so I searched for it then signed up as a member of Lean in Philippines. Since the session happened in the middle of a lockdown due to the pandemic, the session became a safe space to share about the challenges and learn how others are managing them during that time. The next session…

I signed up for Masterclass late July mainly because I was really curious about Art of Negotiation class by Chris Voss. It showed up almost every day in my ads for months! It was my fault because I kept visiting the website pondering if I should subscribe or not. It was the $180 price tag that was stopping me. Eventually, I did subscribe and found myself watching one class after another! Worth it! What I like About Masterclass Documentary Style Interviews. It feels like the instructors are just storytelling the way documentaries are set-up. It doesn’t feel like a class…
