I like Singapore! The city is very clean, impressive bus and train system and they have Universal Studios with Shrek in it! On our first trip to Singapore, we stayed there for 4 days. We went to visit Gardens by the Bay, Chinatown, Merlion Park and my favorite Universal Studios in Sentosa. Going around Singapore was very easy thanks to the maps available in each bus stops, train stations and free mobile apps! The locals there were also very helpful.

Lakeshore, Pampanga: JSE Wedding Coordination for Chester and Haya
by Haifa Carinaby Haifa CarinaSince 2013, I’ve been part of Joed See Events in coordinating events especially weddings. Each of us in the team has our assigned roles beforehand like one is assigned for bride’s personal assistant, three for the ceremony and two for reception preps. Last December 19, we went to Lakeshore, Pampanga for Chester and Haya’s wedding. The lake wedding at night was beautiful! I wish I took photos! Well you can Google the place and imagine the possibilities! Congratulations Chester and Haya for the start of your happily ever after! Photo Credits: https://www.facebook.com/JoedSeeEvents

Cheers to one of DevCon’s super amazing 2014! To celebrate, the team decided to go out of town for our year-end Christmas party last December 13. We opted to rent a big house to house over 30 folks at Swordfish Street, Subic Bay Freeport Zone. We prepared lotsa food, games and drinking games.

Below are the highlights of the trip: KATIBAWASAN FALLS Falls are always fascinating. You agree? The long stretch from the cliff to its way down was just beautiful. You can go swimming at the falls and there are pasalubong shops outside. Entrance Fee is…

Maasim, Leyte: Starfish and Enchantments
by Haifa Carinaby Haifa CarinaFor the 2nd leg of our Cebu-Leyte-Bohol trip, we rode a boat from the port of Poro in Camotes Islands, Cebu to Ormoc, Leyte. Our main destination in Leyte was the town of Maasim to visit Franz’s family. Stayed there for two days just in time for Mother’s Day and his father’s birthday! During our stay here, I learned a lot about spirits, beliefs and superstitions from their relatives which I find interesting and fascinating in many ways. The place isn’t much of a tourist destination but I enjoyed swimming to see school of fishes, sea urchin and starfishes not…
