  • Illonggo people are the sweetest especially when they speak. On my first trip there, together with my companion JP Sibug of Microsoft Philippines, our agenda was to meet with the tech community. Since DevCon has a chapter in Iloilo, our team organized and gathered the folks in partnership with Dojo 8 Coworking Space. Its quite a small world as many of the people there I met in previous tech gatherings in the Philippines. Im very happy with turnout of the meetup as people starting sharing potential partnership opportunities. The main message of the meetup was to encourage collaboration among local…

Usually, we just hang out near the workshop area and do things like watching movies, share stories to the max, or play games. Just last week, I bought one set of Monopoly Deal cards and introduced it to my team during the Project Management Camp: Scrum Methodology. We had so much that even after our next event on that evening at a karaoke, some of us were still playing! Then…

  • Working with a fun team wouldn’t feel like work at all! That’s always true in all teams I’ve been with. I stick with the team I enjoy being with and I would jump off from teams that I think is boring regardless of how novel their goals or how big they are. Now, I’m proud to present to you my team at Developers Connect (DevCon) Philippines! This photo was taken at Yaku, Podium after our 3rd quarter planning. From left to right, that’s Terence (VP-Programs), Bryan (VP-Technology), the adorable me (lol), Alvin(member), Jossie (VP-Finance), Arvin (member), RJ (member), and Nat…
