I never thought I could do a sub1 for 10k without training. And I didn’t! haha. It was Pinoy Fitness Sub1 10k Challenge. I was 15 minutes behind but I had new PRs. Yay! I decided to join the run 5 days prior by buying someone’s kit. Thus I didn’t have enough training. Nevertheless, it was my fastest run yet. Good job self! Follow my blog with Bloglovin

The La Union trip was one of the spontaneous trips I really enjoyed. It was an out of town trip with an itinerary I didn’t know. I went swimming in waterfalls without bringing clothes. Luckily, I was accompanied by a friend whom I convinced to join me an hour before departure. One for the books!

Quantum and Information Technology Convention 2017
by Haifa Carinaby Haifa CarinaFlew back to my hometown Cagayan de Oro this weekend to give a talk on Relevant Skills in the IT industry for the 9th Quantum and I.T. Convention (QITC). I had a momentary appreciation of legacy in action. I’ve spoken to many events before but this one is more dear to me. 6 years ago I led a team for QITC 4. There weren’t many conventions then in my city. We hosted the event in the same exact room. Pure nostalgia.

Almost a decade now, these two have always been my source of confidence for taking risks in life especially in organization ventures. They’re the friends who may not always be with you but are there when you need them most. No questions asked. Love you both to the moon and back!

Bucket List #20: Watch an international artist/band’s concert – front row! CHECK! I watched The Calling concert earlier (November 11) at the Mall of Asia Arena. It was my first international artist/band concert and its one my favorite childhood/teen band so I made sure to get access to the first row for bucket list purposes. Quite pricey but definitely worth it!
