    Coron, Palawan: The Ultimate Tour

by Haifa Carina August 4, 2015
by Haifa Carina August 4, 2015

My favourite part of our Coron trip has to be the island hopping with our very wacky tour guides! Coron is located separately from the Palawan mainland. They boast of their pristine white beaches and beautiful underwater sights (corals and fishes). We arrived there late afternoon and stayed at a gueshouse 5mins away from town proper. While looking for a place to eat and buy midnight snacks, we got to interact with the locals. We found out their local dialect is Cuyonon but most of them speak tagalog and many of them understand Bisaya (like me!).

I was so happy when I found out we’re going mountain climbing again! This time its in Mt. Tibig, Batangas. The climb itself was a bit short but was crazy steep! First few minutes my sweat were already dripping with the extra effort in carrying myself and my backpack through long over 50 degrees slopes. When we arrived the summit, 360 beautiful view! (Forgot to take pictures lol)

When we mention Makati, first comes to mind would be the tall buildings and professionals wearing business attires. Then sometime somewhere, someone decided to put art in the regularly passed Dela Rosa Walkway. Its an overhead bridge that can bring you from V.A. Rufino St all the way to Greenbelt 5. Now this walkway turned from a regular path to an interesting one!

by Haifa Carina January 7, 2015

During our trip to Siargao Island, we decided to stay overnight at Surigao Tourist Inn in Surigao City and catch up with the next available ferry ride to Siargao at 12 noon. We booked a Deluxe room via Agoda. We got our room at 15% OFF. I’m sharing a photo of their rates below. Location-wise, it is situation in the city main where many other tourists inns are located. Place’s first impression: NEAT! From floor to tables to closet to bathroom, everything was clean and well organized. Bed and pillows were soft giving guests a comfortable rest. They have hot…
