Who would have thought a powerbank would now become a necessity? With all the constant data use with our on the go lifestyle, our smart phones easily max out its battery life. I’ve been quite dependent to them for sometime now. Last Feb, I was so surprised to receive this gift from my mentor, Joed. Its the prettiest classy powerbank I’ve set my eyes into. And it even has my name! Sweet! Thanks Jo!

Coron, Palawan: The Ultimate Tour
by Haifa Carinaby Haifa CarinaMy favourite part of our Coron trip has to be the island hopping with our very wacky tour guides! Coron is located separately from the Palawan mainland. They boast of their pristine white beaches and beautiful underwater sights (corals and fishes). We arrived there late afternoon and stayed at a gueshouse 5mins away from town proper. While looking for a place to eat and buy midnight snacks, we got to interact with the locals. We found out their local dialect is Cuyonon but most of them speak tagalog and many of them understand Bisaya (like me!).

When we acquired an oven at home weeks ago, I was ecstatic! I could picture myself making cupcakes, cookies and other sweets i can imagine. Im totally new at baking so I thought I can start learning simple bakes on weekends. New hobby! Together with my other half Franz, last week we made raisin oatmeal cookies and today we made my all time favorite chocolate crinkles!

Back in June, I went to Singapore with my teammate Jossie to attend Echelon Asia Summit 2015. On our last day, we had our lunch at Lenas in Paya Lebar Square before we head straight to the airport. It gave a homey feels even though if was located at the center of the mall. And they serve big!

I was so happy when I found out we’re going mountain climbing again! This time its in Mt. Tibig, Batangas. The climb itself was a bit short but was crazy steep! First few minutes my sweat were already dripping with the extra effort in carrying myself and my backpack through long over 50 degrees slopes. When we arrived the summit, 360 beautiful view! (Forgot to take pictures lol)
